121 Democrats have voted to allow lawsuits against citizens reporting suspicious activities?

If terrorist can sue Americans for keeping their eyes open, HOW are we supposed to protect ourselves?
The Jeff King Amendment isn't partisan. So why are Democrats ACTING partisan when OUR SECURITY is at stake???
Answer:
I know. This is outrageous. The law would protect citizens who report suspected terrorists from lawsuits, such as the one that was filed by the Muslim clerics who were thrown off a flight after their suspicious activity and anti American remarks. We want our citizens to report this kind of thing. We do not want them facing the possibility of ridiculous but expensive lawsuits. Fortunately, most of the Democrats voted with the Republicans to pass the immunity bill, but shame on the 121 who did not.
I know....Ted Kennedy voted against it.

FOOLS
It is a learned behavior. Kind of like lemmings running over a cliff since the one in front did.
Falsely reporting suspicious activities is a serious matter, and should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Do you want the patriot act overthrown, becuase that's what congress will be forced to do if it keeps getting abused. People shouldn't be reporting their personal enemies as terrorists just to get them out of the way.
I think there are 435 members of the House, and I hope you're referring to the House, so less than half of the Democrats voted for it. Now tell us why you didn't let us in on how many Republicans voted?

Well you're going to have to give a source, because 435-121=314. So that means that 314 voted against those 121 Democrats, but somehow those 121 Democrats won the vote.
It don't work that way.
Get your facts right, dummy.
Lawsuits against citizens 'reporting suspicious behaviour' for personal gain or revenge.
These things happen, you know.
Obviously, if the person 'reported' is found guilty of a crime, there will be NO lawsuit.
Get it?

Not 'preaching to the choir' here, are you?
You should learn something from your answers.
Its called a constitution. Everyone has the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Everyone that doesnt like republican views isnt a terrorist. Republicans terrorize more people than any other group of people out there. It is the democrats that have to put them in there place. If Bush's father wasnt who he was than bush would just be another vietnam vet that the government cares nothing about.
How about a link -- I Googled Jeff King Amendment and found nothing in the Congressional Site and nothing relevant in a general search.

However, people who are falsely accused should have some recourse, as this happens all the time.
Got a reference number? Link? I'm not going to research every rant on here.

I'm against using citizens to play Big Brother. As a true conservative, I'm not so much "for" the amendment as you've described it as I'm "against" the regulations it amends. If you were REALLY worried about your security, you'd be watching our representatives more closely....instead of your neighbors.
Give me your name and I will report you for terrorist activities and then see how you feel about the law after spending some time in Gitmo.
