A few questions on the Patriot Act...?

I'm working on an essay, and I wanted to get a few facts straight on this.

Since its last reauthorization on March 9, 2006, when will the act expire?

Does it violate any parts of the Constitution other than the Fifth Amendment? If so, which?

Thanks.
Answer:
The Patriot Act, actually violates almost all the Constitution. The fact that they can hold you in custody with out any warrent, the fact they can invade your privacy with out cause. The USA was supposed to be a place to escape goverments that took the rights of the people away, yet now 200ish years later were in the same deal as our forfathers. The goverment can and does things with out the peoples vote. Yet the government is supposed to be made up by the people, for the people.
It violates our first amendment rights to a free press. They are not allowed to show pictures of coffins of our dead soldiers, are not permitted to publish other war facts. The fourth amendment is violated by unreasonable search and seizure, the right to be secure in our personal papers, effects etc, Amendment six is violated, speedy and PUBLIC trial. the right to counsel and defense etc Amendment seven is violated, trial by jury. Amendment eight is violated, cruel and unusual punishment. I can't go on. It is sickening.
Tons of good info here.
